Machine Learning Research Scientist

I am currently a machine learning research scientist at the Center for Advanced Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where I focus on building robust and generalizable multimodal generative and surrogate models for scientific applications. My research spans deep learning, multimodal large language models, foundation models, and AI/ML safety, with a particular emphasis on tackling distributional and subpopulation shifts in real-world testing environments. I am passionate about developing safe, reliable, and adaptive AI systems that support scientific discovery and decision-making under uncertainty.
